Nav Chetna's Women Empowerment Program
Udaan is a dedicated women empowerment initiative by Nav Chetna Charitable Trust, aimed at uplifting women from underprivileged communities by enhancing their skills, self-belief, and financial independence. We believe that when a woman rises, an entire family, community, and nation rises with her.
Our Vision with Udaan
Our goal is to empower women by equipping them with practical, in-demand skills, fostering leadership, and building pathways to sustainable livelihoods. Through Udaan, we nurture self-reliance, confidence, and a spirit of entrepreneurship among women in urban slums and rural India.
What We Do?
Nav Chetna’s Women Empowerment Initiative, launched with the belief that every woman deserves the right tools and opportunities, works at the grassroots level to transform lives.
Our program provides:
✅ Skill Development & Vocational Training
Beautician, Stitching, Computer Literacy, Henna Art – for financial independence.
✅ Health & Hygiene Awareness
Workshops on menstrual health, nutrition, and personal care for women and adolescent girls.
✅ Self-Defense Training
To make women confident, safe, and assertive in challenging situations.
✅ Career Counseling & Mentorship
Guidance to help women set goals, choose careers, and start small businesses.
✅ Gender Sensitization
Sessions for both men and women to build a balanced and respectful community.
✅ Livelihood Support & Micro-Entrepreneurship
Connecting women with self-employment schemes and local markets.
